The ASME@WAU Music Festival offers world-class instruction and experiences to young musicians. The festival’s programs include one-on-one lessons, group lessons, masterclasses, seminars, and multiple performing opportunities. ASME@WAU is distinguished by forward-looking instruction and innovative ideas, presented by world-class artist-teachers.

The Festival is co-organized by the American Society of Musical Excellence – an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and Washington Adventist University.

American Society of Musical Excellence (ASME) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit music education organization based in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. ASME is a platform designed to connect talented musicians and music learners with professionals locally, all over the US and the world through music activities, academic programs and career development preparations.

Washington Adventist University is a private university with a liberal arts tradition, offering a dynamic blend of professional and liberal arts undergraduate and graduate programs. It is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music and is approved by the American Music Therapy Association.

The ASME@WAU Music Festival provides talented young musicians opportunities for world-class instruction, collaboration, innovation, and an international perspective while enhancing the cultural life of the greater Washington D.C. region.
